Update your Crowdsource app to keep contributing

What's New?

Your experience on our app is our top priority. Starting on June 30, 2020, we are launching a new update to the app, in order to make your experience on the Crowdsource app more stable and reliable. A lot of these changes that we have worked on, may not be directly visible to you as they are updates to our backend systems. We are migrating from some of our legacy systems to new systems. However, this means that you will need to update your app in order to continue contributing to Crowdsource.

All end users of the Crowdsource app.

Why is it important?

As we are updating our systems, we will continue to support only the new version of the app. Please be sure to update the app by 31 July, 2020. You may otherwise experience errors across all activities in our app. Some of you may also see a lower count of your contributions on the new version, this is normal.

What to expect?

• Until July 31, 2020, if you aren't yet on the new version, any images you upload to Image Capture will take up to 24 hours to show up on My Uploads. (Image below for reference)

• From Aug 1, 2020, if you are on the older version of the app, most of the activities in the app will stop working unless you update to the latest version.

How do you know if you are on the latest update?

Visit Crowdsource on Google Play. If you do not see the 'Update' button, you are good to go and are already on the latest version.

What do you need to do?

Update your app right away to make sure that you have the most optimized version of our app. Do spread the word and tell your friends in the community about the update too, so that they don't miss out on this news.

To ensure that you do not miss any further updates, turn on the automatic update to always get the latest experience.
