Kashif Abdul Razzaq
Kashif is an entrepreneur from Karachi, Pakistan and one of the first few community members in the region. He frequently shares his Crowdsource journey on news channels, documentaries and talk shows, inspiring many to join him. He strongly believes in the need to contribute accurate and correct information to enable AI systems to obtain the right knowledge.
Ashwani wears the Santali language and culture as a badge of honor. His role as an influencer with Crowdsource has helped Santali, one of the few tribal languages with a unique script, gain a strong foothold in the digital space. Through Crowdsource, he plans to leave a legacy for the next generation.
A student pursuing a degree in computer science, Zahra brings a lot of passion to the Crowdsource influencer community in Nigeria. Contributing to the Hausa language, Zahra sees this as an opportunity to showcase Nigerian languages and cultures to the world at large. She has also been a strong advocate for women in technology.
Abdisa Bancha Jara
Abdisa is a social entrepreneur who has been leading the Crowdsource community in Ethiopia. He has dedicated his life and his expertise to bringing languages like Afaan, Oromo, Tigrinya, Amharic, Somali, and many more to the world stage. He wants to create something visibly transformative for his local community.
Starting the Crowdsource journey in 2017, Harshit has grown from being a contributor to influencer and now mentor to other influencers in the space. What encourages him is the impact he can create in the lives of people who use Google products. He is committed to building a self-sustainable community framework with Crowdsource at the center.
Desty from Bogor, Indonesia has not only gained professionally being a top contributor and influencer at Crowdsource, but she has also managed to bring her family into the fold. She has been rallying hard to get Sudanese and Javanese along with a host of over 700 local languages to gain the recognition they deserve.
Zuhra’s Crowdsource journey has been transformative, helping her discover new skills which have helped her professionally and personally. With Crowdsource, she is trying to break the language barriers between people and bring local languages like Kikuyu and Dahalo to technology.
Brayan Kai Mwanyumba
Brayan is a data scientist and technical writer from coastal Kenya who has not only fostered a community in his university but also empowered the students to build solutions using the data that they contributed on Crowdsource. In this process, he was able to showcase a bigger impact and bring more contributors to the fold.
